Der Jumper muss bei dieser Methode nicht gesetzt werden

Moin,

hatte mir in der bucht ne gebrauchte Shiner Trinity gekauft... leider mit dem alten original image drauf. daher nen stick gebastelt mit allen richtigen und neuen NI4 dateien drauf und nach
dem Power Off, Power OBN FB power taste drücken mehrmals legt die kiste auchg los aber something goes wrong.
Ich habe mein alter Nullmodemkabel rausgekramt und gottseidank hat der DELL REchner noch ne serielle schnittstelle /dev/ttyS0 (benutze neueste Mint) Log:
Normales updateverfahren ohne Jumper, noch nicht das emergency...
Any ideas?, Jumper kurzschliessen , ubooten + manuelles write?

Hi,
also geflasht wurde ja laut Log korrekt, der Kernel kann dann aber nicht gestartet werden (Checksum error).
Aber von wann sind deine Dateien? Ich hab nämlich mal kurz verglichen, der aktuelle Kernel (2.971.184 Bytes) und auch Image (60.329.224 Bytes) haben andere Dateigrössen, als in deinem Log angezeigt!
Lade die doch nochmal frisch runter, hier aus dieser Anleitung: coolstream-hbd2-f48/hd2-alle-boxen-reco ... -t135.html und achte auch mal nach dem kopieren auf den Stick, ob das noch stimmt und versuche es erneut mit dem Flashen.

Da sich in letzter Zeit die Berichte häufen, dass User ihre neu gekaufte Coolstream Box nicht booten können und auch das oben beschriebene Recovery nicht funktioniert ( wie gestern bei meinem Bruder bei einer nagelneuen Tank ), hier mal eine mögliche Ursache und die Lösung dazu.
Einige User berichteten, dass sie mit den oben angehängten Dateien die Box nicht wiederbeleben konnten, sondern nur mit den Dateien aus diesem Thread zusätzlich zu den oben angegebenen: HD2 (Alle Boxen!) - Recovery via UART und USB . = viewtopic.php?f=48&t=136
Ich denke, dass bei diesen Boxen die Bootargs verbogen waren, was durch das Zufügen von u-boot.bin und uldr.bin auf dem Stick behoben wird.

Dort steht dein Beitrag Unten - wie ich zitiert hatte.
Und in deinem Beitrag !!!! ist genau dein Link drin zu dem Emergency flashen mit Jumper und USB.
Natürlich habe ich die 'ohne Jumper-USB stick methode längst durchprobiert -> Siehe die Mitschnitte über Seriel Putty !!!
Inkl. zusätzlicher files wie in der Anleitung über deinem RE:

Die Updatemethode via USB Stick unterstützt folgende Files auf dem USB Stick:

- uldr.bin (Loader)
- u-boot.bin (u-Boot)
- env.bin (u-Boot Umgebung)
...

Hi,
ich glaube, ihr redet aneinander vorbei. Denn, Miky, die beiden Dateien hatte er schon in seinem ursprünglichen Flashversuch mitgeflasht, wie man im Log sieht.
Und @ chucki: genau das war es, was er dir sagen wollte, nicht die andere Methode verwenden, sondern nur die beiden Dateien zusätzlich normal mitflashen, und deren jeweils aktuellen und für die verschiedenen Boxen aufgedröselten Versionen stehen nunmal in dem Thread der Jumper-Methode, das mag ein wenig unübersichtlich sein, ist aber nunmal so... :D

Leider hattest du das Log oben gekürzt, passten denn die Längen, vorallem vom Kernel???

Ich habe leider erst next week nochmal zeit - nachdem ich meine Steuererkl.19 sortiert habe ;-) sonst gibts strafgelder
Bzgl. der grössen, sind die alten kernel-datei (alt) und leider verlinkt das 4.0er image aus der flashanleitung...
