Trinity Emergency Flash

Hallo zusammen,

habe mir gerade zusätzlich eine Trinity Sat zugelegt.
Habe dann in der Original CS software die update.urls von NI rübergeschoben und versucht NI für Trinity aufzuspielen.
Im ersten Moment sah alles ganz gut aus das löschen und das neu schreiben hat alles ohne Probleme geklappt.
Leider bleibt die Trinity jetzt bei start hängen.
Bräuchte Dateien für einen Emmergency Flash!!
Gibt es da was

Welche Box hast du denn genau? Trinty gibts 3 Stück. Vermutlich hast du ein falsches Image geflasht.

Muss der Ordner "notfallpaket-trinity-apollo" inkl. Inhalt auf den Stick ?
Oder nur der Inhalt !?

Hallo zusammen.

Ich habe das gleiche Problem mit meiner Trinity, jedoch habe ich den Inhalt des Notfallpakets Trinity - Apollo (5 Dateien) auf einen Stick gezogen und bei mir klappt es einfach nicht. Muss ich lediglich die Dateien des Pakets drauf legen oder noch irgendwas beachten ?

Danke schonmal im voraus.

P.S. Bin absolut neu in dem Thema und würde euch danken wenn ihr es simple erklärt, schreibt :D

in dem Notfallpaket ist kein Image enthalten

geh mal hier hin
viewtopic.php?f=59&t=276

Trinity: Download --> umbenennen --> rootfs.arm.jffs2.nand
Kernel: Download --> umbenennen --> vmlinux.ub.gz
+ env.bin aus dem Notfallpaket

Falls bei Dir Windows zum Einsatz kommt, darauf achten, dass die Dateinamen mit Endung angezeigt werden (z. B. .txt)
Sonst funktioniert das Flashen nicht.

diese 3 Dateien auf einen USB Stick legen, direkt im Hauptverzeichnis, keine Ordner extra anlegen
Stick muss FAT32 formatiert sein

Box aus
Stick in Front USB
Box einschalten und sofort mehrmals hintereinander die Powertaste der Fernbedienung betätigen, bis der Flashvorgang beginnt.

Wie im anderen Forum schon geschrieben, solltest du dir unbedingt ein Nullmodemkabel zulegen. Braucht man öfter mal.

Hallo Mirz

erstmal vielen Dank für deine spitzen Anleitung. Habe deine Schritte alle so befolgt, jedoch ohne erfolg. Stick wird zwar erkannt (Diode blickt am stick) aber dann hängt sich die Box beim Bild (schwarzer Hintergrund, mittig weisses NI) auf.

Nullmodemkabel habe ich heute bestellt und wird nächste Woche wahrscheinlich da sein.

Kann es an der Stickgröße liegen oder daran das ich die Dateien vom Mac aus rüber gezogen habe ?

USB Stick´s werden oft nicht erkannt, einfach mal einen anderen USB Stick (fat32) probieren, ohne Logmöglichkeit ist das aber blindes Handeln.

So ich habe mein Kabel erhalten um mit putty die Box auszulesen. Einstellungen inkl. Com Port habe ich alle vorgenommen. Wie lange dauert es denn bis ich das log file bekomme ? Bei mir wird ein schwarzes Fenster geöffnet und oben links ist ein grüner Kasten.

Ich habe die Einstellungen vorgenommen die in der Anleitung dazu vorgegeben sind (siehe Link in diesem Thread).
Von USB Stick habe ich allerdings nichts hier gelesen, was hat das auf sich ?

Hab ich gerade probiert, jedoch blinkt beim einschalten der Box nur kurz die gelbe LED und dann passiert nichts mehr.

Na ja, jetzt steht es ja schon fast richtig da nachdem Du korrigiert hast. Und in der Anleitung steht auch ganz sicher, dass das als rootfs.arm.jffs2.nand.img umbenannt werden soll?

Ich habe doch das entsprechende Image umbenannt. Verstehe gerade nicht was du meinst.
